Case/Dimensions

Case
Case rim (except spine) veneered in mahogany separated from satinwood perimeter by narrow mahogany band with chevron stringing inside and plain stringing outside, flat bottom molding of mahogany. Veneered keywell of satinwood with a purpleheart perimeter separated by rosewood and sycamore stringing. Nameboard with elongated inlaid sycamore cartouche containing the inked inscription. Three panel lid of solid mahogany supported by two lid sticks screwed to the case interior. Music ledge on keyboard flap interior and collapsible desk on rear of nameboard. Reproduction dust cover of pine. Original French frame stand with square tapered legs and brass casters.
